Zebras are odd-toed ungulates native to eastern, southern and south-western Africa. They are best known for their distinguishing white and black stripes, which come in different patterns exclusive and unique to each zebra. Zebras are usually social animals that can be seen in small confined groups as well as large herds.
Zebras are very flexible and adaptable grazers. Mainly their diet consists of grasses but will also eat shrubs, herbs, twigs, leaves and even bark.
